I found a nice Fairey Swordfish so I figured that I'd visit a part of the old British Empire.

As I had just downloaded some African mesh that settled it, off to Egypt and down to Cape Town.

EVER ONWARD!

Down to Pretoria

And then Johannesburg

Had to land in Johannesburg and stretch my legs

And, finally, I landed in Cape Town

OldAirmail - THANKYOU SO MUCH for the Christmas present my friend. This swordfish is great. I would love to know how you find these great web sites. I will be busy downloading some carriers, Sea King repaints, a Wyvern, and I will be buying a Buccaneer and probably a Sea Fury. Really glad I have a link to the Flying Stations web site thanks to you. Since you seem to be so good a locating these classic aircraft, have you ever seen anywhere to download a good "Kingfisher" for FSX. Can't wait to see your next screenies and surprise downloads. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Capt.

Just did a quick search for FSX Vought Kingfisher but couldn't find anything useful.

Thanks, GF. And welcome the SimViation.

There were a lot of pictures that I didn't post, such as Port Elizabeth, Swaziland, and Lesotho.

Maybe another day in another aircraft.

The Fairey Swordfish is a well behaved sim plane to fly. Hope everyone enjoys it. And don't forget that there's a float version too.

Very nice and interesting pics!

And don't forget to secure the plane when parked, the Swordfish flyes alone at 40 mph headwind...
