It was such a nice cloudy day that I decided that one plane wasn't enough.

Thanks, Chuck.

They're not as good as your pictures, but I do have fun. :D

And I have to say that with the last update of OpusFSI the clouds have taken a huge step forward.

Thanks, Doug.

It's amazing how we can fly the world, in the aircraft that we want, with scenery that is simply stunning.

OldAirMail - - you are a man after me old heart. I can't help myself after looking at your photos. Your scenery is beautiful, your aircraft are what aircraft should look like (us old romantics). I hate to be a pest, but I must know. Are you using FSX or something else? Is that an Otter in the first couple of photos? Please tell me where did you find that Otter, and Jenny, and the Beechcraft. Fantastic looking planes. Because of what I am seeing in your photos I am seriously considering redoing my setup and doing some upgrading. Thank you for the great photos.

OldAirMail - - guess I should have looked at your signature. Looks like you might be using Prepar3d V2.4 Is that right?

Capt Walter... <<u

That aircraft is not a DeHavilland of Canada "DHC-3" Otter but rather a Noorduyn Norseman Aircraft.

Thanks, Doug, for clarifying the aircraft.

Yosemite is a free download from Orbx FTX. You can find it here, along with some other GREAT & free scenery.

Some of their "freeware" scenery requires ORBX:FTX Global, although I don't think that Yosemite does.

FTX Global is on sale now for $27 off the reg. price.

Again, this covers the entire earth and is well worth the money.

PS - Right now there is very little, visually, different between Prepar3d V2.4 and FSX.

Another PS - most of my scenery is freeware.

Thanks for the reply about the Norseman. I seem to remember seeing a download for it on one of the sites, but I think it was for FS2002. What is it in your scenery setup that creates the mist and fog in the valleys in the photos with the Norseman? Is that Opus doing that?

No killing necessary gentlemen. :D

Just visit the Norseman page.

The aircraft is nice. It's fun just watching it fly.

Unfortunately the cockpit isn't too pretty from within Pr3par3d V2.4, but is just fine in FSX.

I know that the Norseman isn't a real popular plane, but I would probably have paid for a better production.

Still, as I said, it's fun to fly when you're outside of the cockpit.
