I've been doing that with my Cpt/sim C130's for a while and easily get airborne into a 30 knot headwind. Landing is a lot of fun from the VC.

Well done on the shot...

Nothing too it...we Canucks learn how to land on Flat Tops during our Ab-initio Flight Training for our Private Pilots License...

Might try a 747 next time.
As for launching,I think the carrier would have
to get a hell of a speed up.
