UP the West Coast Hop 5
Posted: Tue Jul 15, 2014 4:05 pmHop 5 on my trip from San Francisco, CA to Anchorage, AK following the coastline flying in real time using real weather.
Each flight is around an hour long.
Hop 4
This one is from Siltcoos Lake (5J2) to Seaside Municipal (56S)
Last hop in Oregon.....After this flight it's on to Washington State.
We should be safe though....Washington keeps all of us gun toting meat eaters on the East side
of the mountains, far away from the coastline and our route
Makin' my way around to take off into the wind at Siltcoos Lake.
In the air.......headed North.
A couple shots of interesting coastline....
Descending near Seaside municipal.
Couldn't find a seaplane base.....they seem pretty few and far between.
So, I landed at an airstrip near the water
