Thanks to Davido for the heads up. I had been loosely following the progress
of this model, but I didn't know that a beta had been released.
I made a short test flight ending (eventually) with a carrier landing. I'm impressed once again by
Mr. Cattaneos' skills. Even in Beta this aircraft is well on it's way to being a Cattaneo must have!
Taking off from Langley AFB (I know it's a Navy plane......Langley is my default start location
)
My first approach to the carrier.....
....way high.....bolter!
Second attempt (all right...third attempt) lookin' better....need to get lined up.....
.....over compensated for my two previous over shoots and got the two
wire (see the sparks from the hook touching before the gear).
