Not bad pics at all! Love the 51 anywhere it flies, and the 86 looks golden in that light :)

The scenery isn't bad at all either, altho I can look out my living room sliding glass door and see Shasta, The Three Sisters, Mt. McLaughlin, and Crater Lake :) If the Cascades Range volcanoes ever decide to turn loose, either singly or all together, I will have a VERY interesting but VERY short life

We can even ALMOST see Lassen from here! When I was a LOT younger, I climbed up Lassen and SHasta both. NOT alone, may I add! :naughty: Fantastic to stand in Lassen's caldera and watch all the mud-pots burble, bubble and plop...Having been to Kilauea before, I found mud-pots a tad diasappointing, and incredidibly stinky by comparison! Still and all, kinda nifty at age 14 or 15 or whatever I was...
Thanks for the posts!

Pat☺

A popular Tour area for me, within easy reach from Napa Airfield (KAPC).

Paul.... :D ...!

Thank you for looking fox! :D

Thank you Pat! One my favorite sections of the I 5 corridor from Calif. to Seattle to visit our oldest! The gold morning color is courtesy a very good preset in Shade!

Thanks Papi! I went into panic mode on the first three shots when FF kept CTD'ing! (I'm in FSX DX10 only now) Pilot error. All fixed now!

Haven't tried KAPC yet Paul! Found a great little airport in Brookings OR. KBOK you might like too!

Happy flying all!!! :D

The old Inter-state 5, and Highway 101!

Regular flying routes for me, following the road down below along the Pacific Coast....

A fantastic Motorcycle ride experience!

A treat for a Harley Davidson!

...(and my Flight Sim Cessna 150/152).... ...!

Paul...Meep, meep.... :D ...!

A fantastic Motorcycle ride experience!

Yep! Never owned a Harley, but back in the '70's I did ride a very nice chopped 650 Triumph that I road up and down the Cali, Ore, Wash. Coast on a regular basis!

My most memorable trip was to Guerneville CA and kayaking down the Russian River to the Pacific Ocean!

Happy motoring,

Greg :D

Happy days, Greg!

I would dearly love to ride my Motorcycle along Highway 1, hugging the coast, from Santa Rosa, over Golden Gate Bridge, to Santa Monica in the LA Valley.

One of the Worlds greatest motorcycle rides...(Similar to Route 66!)

Sadly, its far too late for me now. I can only experience it using FSX now, flying at a very low level!

Paul....Honda's and Yamaha's.... :D ...!

Next time you make your way to Cali...call me and I'll rent us a touring Harley locally...then, with the wife's blessing, we'll travel over to Monterey, about two hours from me,

then head south down the 1 through Big Sur (B.E.A.U.T.F.I.L), all the way down to San Luis Obispo, just north of Pismo Beach! :geek:

After 15+ years of daily flying California in the Sim, Greg, I know all that area like the back of my hand...

...as I do the whole of California!...and your back yard in Fresno!.... :D ...!

..including Bixsby Bridge near Big Sur...>>> https://www.google.com/search?q=Bixby+B ... 39&bih=786

Wonderful places!

What a dirty dog!

Your shots look so much better than those from Orbx.

Now I have to spend more money! :D

Are you sure that you aren't an agent provocateur working for Orbx?

I'm amazed your enamored with a location I was raised in and worked most of my life Paul! The BBC on Netflix and Amazon are the wife and I's staples when it come to beautiful scenery and programming. One word of description though, in the valley, including my backyard Fresno...HOT :angry-fire:
