Pisa, Italia to Genoa - LIRP to LIMJ

Postby OldAirmail » Wed Jun 04, 2014 9:06 pm

There is a TREMENDUS difference between the average "photo-real" scenery, and that produced by dedicated enthusiasts such as those over at OZx.

The following scenery is from the OZx Tuscany Complete v1.1 and Liguria Photoreal X v1.1.

This is the "new and improved" Tuscany scenery. So if you have the "old" scenery get this one.

Great set, OAM O0
Good lookin' photoreal scenery too.

BTW.......We like to keep the thread limit to 1000kb as not to slow down the site for other users. In the future when you'd like to post more than 1000kb, just make two threads and link them :D

Thanks, Kurt.

I'm not sure what you mean by "damp/sky".

While I prefer clouds, lots of clouds, when flying, I have the weather switched off to highlight the scenery (except for the last two).

There is a "hazy distance" effect built into P3d. Is that what you mean?

At any rate, thanks.

Thanks to you too, SW.

Although not as good looking as the Orbx airport scenery, it was a surprise to find the details in the OZx scenery when I went to park the plane.

Thanks, Chuck.

The right amount of hand crafted buildings, along with good auto-gen buildings, and high quality mesh can make photo-real scenery look fantastic.

As to the "other" problem - Yeah, I thought that I might be going a little overboard there. :?

Although I've flown out of each city, I simple didn't expect to find so much worth capturing until it was over.

I'll try to be a better person in the future.
