SioneAir Oddities

Postby B0ikat » Wed Apr 23, 2014 10:36 pm

I stumbled across some Mike Stone add-ons I'd never seen before. :D

Lift King: A supersized cargo transport.

Puddle Jumper. A tilt rotor transport
Image

Streak: A SST. I have no idea of the purpose of the probe.
Image

Stubby: A wide-body business jet.
Image

Wind Rider: An intercontinental people mover.
Image

Whisper: A medium-sized regional people mover.

Like all of mikes creations, no VC, basic, and unusual (but look plausible).

Hi,

nice shots and nice planes.

The probe on the Streak should allow a more gentle mach transition by reducing the mach signature and shifting the mach cone forward. It's a concept from the 60th, quasi a lengthening of the very sharp nose, of the Boeing SST.

I really like Mr. Stone's planes, they may look basic, but you get a fully working aircraft, with custom dynamics and basic - but working and customized - panels. Even better, you get a paint kit for nearly every plane. On his site, there a a few other relative new planes, like a very nice B-25J.

I suspected something along those lines. 8-)
