Good afternoon all... <<q

Enjoyed a hour or so with this simulated aircraft...lots of fun in the air and with the Center Line Float Configuration she is different to taxi on the water... ;)

FSX and Windows 7
Aircraft: DeHavilland DH60 G Gipsy Moth
Location: Thorne Bay "KTB" Alaska...United States
Season: Summer 2013
FSWC..Flight Simulator Water Configurator set to Steve's Settings

Thorne Bay..."KTB"
Image

Lots of beautiful locations to build an Outhouse (always with a view when door propped open) and a Cabin

Another Camp at my Six (6) O'clock position...

Just about to the last stop for the day...

Few more groceries to unload and will be ready for my shore supper...

Cool Shots. That is probably the heaviest Tiger Moth ever produced

Thanks "andreb"...much appreciated...

Would have to check that out about the weight of the aircraft as not sure...I know they were on twin floats and not the center line float so again would have to check out that... ;)

Interesting aircraft. I found this photo of a centre float version. http://www.edcoatescollection.com/ac5/ROW%20Europe/G-AADV.html

Are the wheels retractable on the FS model?

It's a Gipsy Moth, not a Tiger.

A bit of an unusal looking aircraft, seems to be a good one to take out on a Sunday afternoon and go hit your favorite fishing spots. Nice photos, enjoyed, have a nice day.

Hi Flying Trucker,

May I be so unpolite to ask where you got this great model? Must be great fun to fly from Dutch lakes and rivers  . AND from my Hilversum airfield !!

Thanks,

hertzie

Hi there Flying Trucker.
Some lovely shots there, I especially like the look of the water in the first and last.

The reason that I posted is that you've just saved me from making a mistake.

I was having a sort out of my spare drive this evening and had sent FSWC to the recycle bin,
but luckily not emptied it yet!

Thanks for reminding me how nice the water can look on FSX.

For Danglia.
