...."Photobucket" files!..... :naughty: ...!

.....'trubble is, if they get deleted it will result in a "Dead Link" in the thread!

That doesn't happen if they are uploaded to the Simviation screen-shot/photo library!

photobucket not allowed?
I found no mention of this in the guidelines?
If this is the rule, then by all means remove them, but make sure those rules are clear, since I checked before posting, an could find nothing outlawing photobucket or anything else. OK, simviation allow for uploads itself, but so do lots of other forums. I fail to see the point in me uploading all my images separately for each site?

Hello Jan!.... :D ...!

The reason being, is that on occasions, photos, screen-shots, etc, stored in Photobucket, etc, often get moved or removed from their location by their owners, intentionally or accidentally, and that results in a report; "dead link" (not found) to them in the Forum, which then means that any following reference to them by members in the thread, makes no sense, and the thread is spoilt!
This often occurs in various other Forums.
Fortunately, Photos, etc, stored in the Simviation library are much more secure, which is why I/we therefore choose to store all my Photos, etc, there, for use in Forums!
It also makes is easy to recover ones old photos, etc, when required. (If you can remember which Sim V Forum/Thread they were stored in!). They are stored by reference number...not name!..... ...!

Admin sometimes get around to re-uploading them to the Sim V library when they spot them!.... ...!

Cheers Jan..
