Had time to do a hours simulated flight in the Piper Apache I got here at the Simviation FSX Download Site...

FSX and Windows 7
REX Essential Plus
Flight Simulator Water Configurator

I still think it might have something to do with BDSizer and the way I use it.

Oh and the aircraft is blue...

Nice set of shots, I like the 1st photo showing the land class of just FSX. FSX did a great job, and you did a great job bringing it out to show the detail.
