Gyrocopting Fun!

Postby Fozzer » Fri Jan 17, 2014 6:36 am

One of my collection of Gyroplanes/Gyrocopters in my FS 2004/FSX Hangars.

Delightful little machines, and LOADS of fun and frolics!

Wonderful set Paul... <<u

I guess one could call that really bugsmashing about the cabbage patch... ;)

There are a few of those at several bugsmasher fields we frequent and there is one at a home on the river which is pulled by a boat. we see that one quite often during the summer and it is flown/owned by a minister.

Guess the minister has all the help and guidance he needs from above when flying that contraption of 500 parts all flying in unison looking for a place to have an accident... :lol: :think: :whistle:
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Looking good, Paul ;)
You got some nice grass textures, but only close up!
What is your Mesh and Texture resolution settings? Your system should handle max.

Ta Lads...!

Default setting:
Mesh = 3m
Texture = 1m

Land details ticked.
Ground scenery shadows ticked.
Water Effects = Low 2x...(to look sensible!)

All other Scenery settings are maxed.

Apparently care is required when selecting the most suitable/optimum; "Mesh" and "Texture" settings!

I have a number of free "Grass" texture programs which I try. The one above is the free REX grass textures....("detail1" in the FSX Texture Folder).
