Boeing 247

Postby Jetranger » Thu Nov 28, 2013 8:58 pm

Every once in a while, I like flying the Boeing 247 Propliner around, by Jen Kristensen.

I repainted this one and added the logo, and repainted the inside of the cockpit and passenger cabin.

Switched sounds too, for a more hefty hefty sound.

Ummmm , UPLOAD ????

Ya, OK, but let me go in a Fix & Repaint the Passenger cabin 1st before I send it into Simviation Heaven for upload for you all.

right now the interior is a tad bit, well kinda murky lookin in my opinion anyways, the rest of the Aircraft is ok, but the passenger interior needs a tad bit of work,, I think.

I'll work on it over the week end, get it up sometime

I'll post a NOTICE or something on the Forum here.

Thanks, this was like 1 of my very 1st Repaints I ever did, bout' 1 1/2 ago,,I've got a weeee bit better since then.

Here ya guys go, I finally got it done,, Dunno' if you'll like it or not ?? :?

I did the best I could on the passenger interior, kinda limited on what I can do because of the file.

roof headliner in the passenger cabin, didn't quite turn out like I wanted it or the floor carpet in the passenger cabin,,, but ohh well.

Have fun with it, Jen Kristensen did a good job on this one I thought.

Sounds for the Boeing 247

I really can't remember, been to long ago , but, I think I used Jen Kristensens Sound file from the DC-6 he has out, I swapped for the more heftyier sounds of a Radial Engine than the DC-3, at least I think that's what I did, but if ya don't like the sounds just swap them out with any of your choosing as your personel preference to suit your personel tastes !

I like the Boeing 247, simple, easy to fly, can land at the smallest of airports & runways , and for those nights when ya just wanna sit back, relax and just take a slow flight around some of your favorite Payware or Freeware scenery and chill out & relax for a nice slow leisurly flight , without having to play with too much dials, switches and other mundane junk, like the Newer Aircraft nowdays.

Simplicity and ease bout' what this Aircraft is about !

Also, there are several View modes also, to pan around inside & outside the aircraft , using the "A" button on your keyboard cycle thru all the views.
