Dont know if this is the right place.

I got Ark Royal inside aicarriers, and i then can make it stationary.
BUT this i just cant figure out.....

I simply cant save a flight after landing!
If i do, i just going "splash" and the ship is gone....

See my last attemp here

You can't save a flight on any AI carrier........they are sim-objects and disappear after you shut down FSX. Even if you don't shut off the sim, you can't spawn on it because FSX won't set your aircraft at the right altitude and you'll fall through the deck :o

Thanks Chuck.

Tho, i got some hints from Flying Stations Lordship saying this:

//With saved flights, with a ship on an AI route you need to load the flight at exactly the same time this is easy enough as long as you don't set it as the default flight when it'll load at system time rather than whatever is in the saved file. With ships put in via AI Carriers you need to save the flight paused then when you load it use AI Carriers to reload the ship at the user's position.

Oh and in both cases edit the saved flight file so the line SimOnGround=True becomes SimOnGround=False//

I'll sure have a try on saving it in paused flight.

Editing the SimOnGround= will probably work fine. It does not solve the problem of the carrier disappearing if you're using the AI Carriers program.Pause before save then spawn at user position will work (sim paused on load) but isn't very realistic.

You could spawn a carrier at a facility waypoint to begin with........now land on it save your flight and shut down FSX. Then when you begin FSX again respawn a carrier at that same waypoint....then load your saved flight. Assuming you've fixed the SimOnGround= issue you should show up on the carrier :D

Well, i dont mind the none realistic in this matter.

Finding a moving carrier, at a specific time, on a very long voyage, is not easy! Then land on it with less fuel to go around, if necessary, is hard stuff to a pilot. BUT doing it all over again, just trying to get on the carrier and be able to make a take off, a flight around, and a proper landing on a moving ship, is what i'm looking for.

Thanks Chuck, i sure will have a go on the waypoints too.
