Another heli hop ......

Leaving Stewart.

The terrain is a little rough here....

A glacier making it's way toward the sea.

One from the captain's chair......I am not afraid of heights, but flying a heli with no doors would take a little gettin' used to.....
Image

Loggin' roads I assume....doesn't have the giant bald patches left behind by logging ops in the U.S. though.....

Set down in Woodcock.....

Thanks 4 looking :D

Hi Chuck

Flown over the Canadian Western and Eastern Provinces below 5000ft in civilian and military aircraft many times.

To fly through a mountain pass and look up and see the mountain disappear into a cloud is awesome.

Looking down...oh wow...beautiful.

Flying in a helicopter with the doors open is no different than flying a Super Cub with both hatches open or a DeHavilland DHC-3 Otter with both Dutch Doors open.

Flying in a Locheed C130 Herc and standing on the open back ramp would be quite the experience also. Never done that...
Flown in the right seat a few times but never got to stand on that open ramp.

Again great shots Chuck and your reply about the Bell 47 reminding you of Mash. Not a program we watched but there were lots of Bell 47s operating in Northern Ontario and I always liked the view from that flying bubble gum machine...

P.S. Now that 5th shot Chuck...would like you all to look just above the blade overtop of the eggbeaters nose. See that clump of trees, well just to the left and real near the lake is a huge tree...see it? That is where I was going to put our two holer with a view when we could afford to build our cabin.
Anyone want to buy a bridge?...

Dang Chuck... <<q

You should have waited until Christmas as Santa Clause always drops my stuff off at your wigwam and I was going to ask for a Bell 47 from Santa... :violin:
