I've made several revisions (thanks to Ratdog for helping me out bigtime) since my first post.
Whidbey Island NAS Project

I opened up the large South/Central hangar and added interior textures to all of the open hangars.

Again, thanks to Ratdog, I've begun labeling the hangars with their appropriate squad #s and added the tower to hangar 5.

So far fps hasn't been affected by custom buildings.....Whidbey Island NAS scenery shown with OrbX PNW

Squad emblems made with Instant Object Maker.

I'm still lookin' for a static P-3 Orion.........or someone willing to model one ;)

EDIT  Also looking for a couple/few people to test.......PM me if interested

Thanks guys 8-)

@Rheite.......I am looking for some help testing, but I've never done a project this big, so I'm not sure how to send you the file (too big to e-mail I think....142MB zip folder).

I could upload it to the SimV download site as a Beta version, but I don't really have the time to consider feedback from more than a few people and I'd rather not release it until it's complete :-/

Any ideas?

Take a look at http://www.2shared.com/

Also, I think one of Google's many apps allows for large sized file share - I'll do some digging and see what I can find.

Seems like 2shared should work just fine. I'll try to get a package together in the next couple of days to upload. I'll let ya know when it's uploaded.

Thanks for the help ;)

Looking good Chuck glad I could help you out with the hangers. You could take a flyable P-3 and turn it into an AI and not give it a flight plan. It would set there till the cyber wings rusted off. Try that. I bet you could find a nice freeware P-3 or EP-3 on this site that would fill the bill. That EP-3 I have is off this site. Keep up the good work base is looking great.

I've found a couple......but they're both FS9 models and cause a performance hit when I use them as static objects. I want my scenery to run nice and smooth so, I guess I'll model one myself ;)

BTW.....Ratdog, are you interested in helping me out by testing this scenery when I get a beta ready?

Chuck I don't have FSX bud. I do but it wont run good on this computer it's to slow so I don't even have it on my computer. Wish I could would be great but you may want to find someone with a really kick but system that runs FSX smoothly. If you need anymore shots let me know and I'll fire up the ole Terminator and go for a drive. I love that little truck I have played around with it a lot in the sim it climbs mountains like a goat.

Oh, thanks anyway, Ratdog. You've been a lot of help. The level of detail is considerably higher because of you 8-)

Actually, I'm looking for low to mid grade PC testers......I'm curious to see how the scenery performs on the average FSX system
