Not entirely sure this is a Flight Sim... but it is called a Space Flight Sim... Launch of a SpaceX Dragon atop the Falcon-9 rocket:

I got to talk with the guy who helps make the Falcon, a great piece of work.  The Falcon 9 Heavy is supposed to be more powerful than the Saturn V.

Ah, Orbiter. I had a phase of being utterly infatuated with it about half a year ago. Probably ought to get back into it, it sure is a lot of fun, and really REALLY challenging. Probably didn't help that I started off by immediately trying a custom fly-to-mars-yourself mission XD

I really like that fourth shot incidentally, a really cool angle.

Oh, I tried flying the shuttle FULLY manually... Didn't work out. Have you looked at orbithanger? Has several useful MFDs, autopilots, interplanetary nav computers... And several more ships. Danstephs orbiter page has UMmu which adds astronauts that can be killed, adds Sound, and a really good cargo system, and one of the best ships I've seen for orbiter: the Deltaglider-4, or DGIV, orbit hanger also has a VERY good Firefly class, full interior, great FTL drive, working shuttles, mule, and cargo skids.

I can't remember which it was but I did download and use one of the third party flight-computer add ons... might've been UMmu, the name rings a bell and I do remember, once I actually managed to fly to Mars, and land on it, making some astronauts walk around and gratuitously killing them ;D

Whichever one it was, it was required for this mars mission which was itself a third party add on based on the book 'Voyage' by Stephen Baxter. You start off with an absolutely massive modified Saturn V rocket with four of the Solid Rocket Boosters the shuttle used strapped to the first stage and an extra bulge to accomodate the rather-substantial Mars Lander. All that rocket does is get the command service module, the Mars Module and a maneuvering engine into earth orbit. Then there's another massive multi stage booster which has supposedly already been assembled in orbit by several other rocket launches, which you have to rendezvous and dock with, and only then do you leave earth orbit. In short it's really, *really* complicated
