This is my Convair 880 Jet, I have been working on', not done yet. Just some test shots. Elvis owned a Convair 880 Jet like this along with a Jetstar. Photos I dug out of my moms shoe box from long ago. I kinda wanted to update the Convair 800 Graphically, still workin on it. I gave it some new Jet Engine sounds, and sum Captain Sim Jet Engine smoke effects ! also workin on givin it the Vickers Super VC10 Cockpit . Will work on the passenger cabin in time. anyway, Enjoy the photos and the Convair 880 Vintage Jetliner ~ somethin for me to do at 3:00 in the mornin as usual USA time. Ya'll have a great Day !

Interesting. The fastest airliner in the world was it not? Well, it tried to be.....Oh, and the 990, one with the bulges on the wings... I do recall that most seemed to be in 'SPANTAX' livery. What a strange venture this was from Convair 

Yip it was supposedly Faster than the 707 even, and I did not know that till I started doing a tad bit of research on it, and there was a clip on YOU TUBE Documentary about it.  Fast, how I like my Women too ~ !!
