Edmonton Morning Approach - KLM 772

Postby ArcticFox » Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:18 am

This series of pictures is really why I fly FSX. Just put in some real weather and, depending on where you are and time, experience a multitude of beautiful departures and approaches.
The following is the approach to CYEG from Schiphol in a posky KLM 772ER on thursday morning of the 12. You can click the images for a full size image.

Cruising at 36000ft about 150nm out from Edmonton

Starting the descent I got into some nice morning haze

I always like seeing the little towns on an approach

Great shots, but please don't link to other sites. It slows down the forum for everyone else ;)

Nice shots!

but I gotta ask.. How do links slow down the site?

a link is just writing like this. It would be like saying my writing will slow down the site more then a image will..

It just makes no sense.

Not only that, the photobucket images are much higher quality then SimV shots.
I am somwhere I don't know where I am!!!

I presume the [img] tags have been removed by a mod. Links are fine.

I'm sorry but: are you daft? The images that were visibile were hosted on simviation, just the links to the full-size images were on another site which in no way affect this sites performance. Mod or not you make no sense and quite honestly tick me off with these absurd rules of yours. I hosted the damn pics on simviation as your rules say and now you remove them?
Thanks alot for ruining my thread when I was completely in line with your rules.

With that do you mean:you hosted them on another website?
Then you DIDN'T follow the rules.

But I still don't get how it slows it down? :-?

Jetprop,

It's ok to post images from another site if you use

[url][/url] Tags

But not

[img] Tags

Also I believe he uploaded the visible images (the ones with the [img] Tags) to Simviation, but linked a larger version of the image to another site with [url][/url] Tags.
