Art Deco Weekend.

Postby andy190 » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:40 pm

Here in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand it is Art Deco weekend which means the old farts I mean people of Hawkes Bay get dressed up & bring out their old cars & show off. Art Deco Weekend.

There is also a small airshow & static display. There is among other planes a de Havilland DH-89A Dragon Rapide on display this year & it also takes people on scenic tours of the area.

It flew over my house so I thought I would have my own virtual tour.

The Aircraft is Dave Garwood's Dragon Rapide.

Cold & dark.

Every time I see this aircraft, I think of the British Airways commercial "to Fly"
