Pen and Era, who-ho-ho

Food, cars, travel. Food, cars, travel.
New York, New York, New York
New York...

I felt like a bit of light relief from my current NDB/ADF nav practice really in New York State in grey disgusting weather
so went to wintry Alaska for some good honest VFR fun.

After watching my PenAir video from Just Planes I thought I'd do one of their featured Caravan flights from King Salmon to Perryville.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a PenAir repaint for the default C208 so I had to use Era instead... though they don't fly there...never mind, same ballpark...

Well, here are the shots:

Hope you liked them... thanks to Daube for the tips on getting different camera angles. Really need to get my W+F set up but I have a horrible feeling it's not going to work well with FS and W7.

Wow ! These screenshots are small but impressive !
The #4 and #5, even though there's no aircraft in them, are looking amazing. The sky is alsmost perfect, the colors are fantastic... talk about postal cards !  :o

I really need to fly the default C208 more. I wish they included a float version :/ I should look for repaints for it too.

One thing I noticed is that you have not installed the freeware 3D landing light yet ! You should do it, it would have added quite a nice effect in your first screenshot for example. A member of Simviation has even uploaded a tutorial to add it quickly to all the default planes !  8-) What was his name already ?... Kudos to him !
