Hi all,

No I haven't registered at all to the MS Flight beta tests. Instead, I'm just enjoying my FSX 8-) I made some quick shots, nothing great but the result was better than I expected, so I thought I would share.

The scenery is the freeware photorealistic "Ironscenery" Kauaii island (one of the Hawaii islands), made by Richard Sorochak. You can find it right here at Simviation:

Ah yes, I know that pain :/
I wonder if the SimViation servers allow the usage of download manager programs ?

I remember there was an A5 released months ago on SimV, and one was just put up a few weeks ago. Are they any different? The ones in these shots look much better than the original one.

Well I don't know.
This one is native FSX, with self-shadows for example. The virtual cockpit is nice but it's pretty dull compared to the MS Flight beta screenshots (in fact, the VC would need some "modern" textures inside, the 3D shapes are not bad). Same goes for the external model.
Let's say that by choosing my view angles, I managed to make it look good

That icon is just the bomb. I couldn't stop flying it for the first few months I had it.
And Anyway, I'm sure we can make the fsx look much better than "flight".
And plus, Outerra will have great graphics 8-). Just in case.
