I've done a few round the world trips but never in a single seater so I decided to take the Superbug out for a spin.

First leg My home city Manchester to Rome

Departing Manchester.

Climbing towards the sun rise.

Going to super cruise ( I know the F-18 doesn't normally cruise super sonic but I had fuel to spare :P)

Over the Alps

Arriving in Rome

Touch down at Fiumicino airport. (I hit the bit limit so this one is sadly low quality.)

Next stop Cairo!

Thanks for looking

Nice shots! I've always wanted to do an around the world flight, but I never figured out which aircraft to use.

[quote]@Club508 I'm using the VRS Superbug, REX maxed out for the general scenery, Manchester Airport by UK2000 (Free version) for the first shot and all my sliders and max. I pause turn everything up then take the shot. No way I could run the sim at that detail I only have a i3.

They are slightly edited, I just press the Auto-level button on Paint.net before I re-size them I do it to most my pics except the contest entries. It makes them a bit nicer to look at.
The point of the shots is totally the round the world trip so hopefully they fall under the 'Your flight simulator experience' category.
