Comox Valley Gold

A little west of Comox B.C. Canada - some incredible fall scenery in and amongst the conifer forests. Stands of maple and alder can set the "forest on fire" amidst the dark and gloomy green.

Thanks...for some reason when it's resized to fit here, it seems to darken it somewhat. I was just randomly lying around and that seemed a good time to pull the trigger.  :D

Great shot ;)

Door side guns?? I seem to recall a scene from a film (Apocalypse now perhaps) where they are in a chopper somewhere and this guy is just machine gunning everything and everyone as they fly low over fields from the 'door side gun'...! :-X

I don't know if it's it, but a friend of mine once mentioned some show about a high-tech military helicopter.  I'm pretty sure the show was called "Airwolf".

Airwolf! Airwolf? Dear me, yes, a fancy helicopter that flew so fast they had to speed up the film! I think Jan Michel Vincent was the 'pilot' with Ernest Born-again As the fat bloke in the back. Somthing like that anyway! It centred on Vincents personal problems more than the helicopter. They called him streak or strike or something :D

No it wasnt that but man that show was just wrong on so many levels ;D Of all those type of shows back when we was kids, Knight Rider was the Daddy :)

Didn't quite catch all of that since I haven't watched it, only a small preview of the show, but I caught on to a few parts. :P :D

That 412 looks awesome with the water 8-).
And the airwolf didn't have side guns :-?
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Uhhhhhh.... I nevermentioned Airwolf having door side guns.  I took that turn when todayshore couldn't remember the name of a film and I was attempting to help him figure it out. :D
