Hi Raoul,
"AA" means "AntiAliasing", a feature of your video card to prevent the edges of your objects to look like stairways. Basically, AA will smooth the picture so that you cannot distinguish the pixels on the edges of your plane, making the picture look much better.
You must enable it in your video driver settings. I'd recommend you to read the tutorials by NickN. Look at the top-topics in the FSX section of the forum.
