VOR nav practice......

.....I wanted to practice VOR navigation (I usually fly just using GPS)
I chose the default Cessna 208 because of it's familiar and easy to use VC.

This flight was from Colville Municipal to Pangborn Memorial in WA.
I used two different VORs and switched halfway there.

Banks Lake, near Grand Coulee Dam, under the Right wing..........

Looking down on Dry Falls....that's Mt. Rainier on the far horizon...

Descending into the Columbia River valley

On final....runway in sight.....it's a good thing (notice the low fuel warning lights)...

About to touch down.....

Time to get some fuel (I made it with 9 gallons left) and head for Port Angeles....

All are great, #4 is my favorite..something about the view with the mountains and the runway in sight , just looks awesome!

I like #4 also, but #2 & #3 as well. Great shots Chuck. :)
