Hi all! Yes its a jumbo sized bag of random randoms time......enjoy







The 'moon plus A380' i considered for the monthly competition, its been donkeys since i entered and by golly it took ages to get the shot using fsrecorder and taking the shot from the virtual cockpit of something near the 'bus.....how the hell else do you get angles like that using only freeware! One natural wonder, the moon, and one man made - the impressive A380. However, i decided against it.....too dark. way too dark.

Aha yes! Trouble sleeping....its been the bane of my life for the past 20 odd years, but its effects are quite serious, being self employed.... :-/

Anyhow, this print screen button doesnt exist on my keyboard because im running Fs9 on Win7 via bootcamp on an iMac. Im sure its there in some way but i dont know. I use fraps for screen captures. One button, one shot! Simples :-)

And for the angles, fsrecorder is a little ditty that allows you to record a static aircraft and play it back as ai traffic.

Therefore in slew mode i can add another aircraft and play back my previous aircraft alongside, i can move around using slew in my new aircraft and take shots all over the place - something the standard camera angles cant do 8-)

Great shots.....I don't think the 380 shot is too dark at all. In fact, I think it sets a nice mood 8-) 8-)
A few clouds wouldn't have hurt though

Indeed, clouds are present, using 'building storms' - however the zoom to pull the moon in makes it apparent there are no clouds

The moon is from fsskyworld although not sure Fs9 follows the actual state of the moon for real. The dates i used should have been full moons..........but i never saw one!!!

Hmmm.... That one about playing your aircraft back as AI might actually be worth checking out!

actualy using the ctrl,shift,enter and backspace button you can get some good shots you know.

I really like the second shot with all of the airport traffic in the background. Third shot is great as well.

Love the first shot, lots of detail and scenery to look at, and nothing beats a good VC shot.

Second shot looks great, I like the perspective, and the third shot has a terrific mood to it like Chuck said.  Not even close to being too dark.

i dont think it works in fs9,i use fsx so...
but it may work and if it does it works this way:

ctrl+enter is backwards/backspace is forwards.
shift+enter is up/backspace down(or opposite way around)
ctrl+shift+enter/backspace is left and right.

As many of you know Im not much for big iron but I gotta say #2 really got my attention. Great angle, really conveys just how big that thing is.
