Tomcats over Dominica

The F-14 Tomcat, popularized in 1986's Top Gun, is a carrier-borne supersonic variable-sweep wing fighter. Prototypes first flew in 1970; the D varient, known as the "Super Tomcat" and featured here, debuted in 1991. The F-14 was noted for its long range, high speed, and ability to engage multiple targets at long range. As of 2011, the only nation to operate the Tomcat is the Islamic Republic of Iran, with American Tomcats having been retired in 2006. Nevertheless, the F-14 lives on as a legendary naval fighter.
Here, two Tomcats make an impromptu flyby over the docked USS Eisenhower and the town of Roseau, Dominica.
Enjoy!

Thanks to Dino Catteneo for his F-14D, Zev C. Richards and Jean Louis Valladier for their "Dominica X" package, and the developers behind ENB bloom, the water configurator available on this site, and FS Recorder.
