Goodly morning all...

Hope I am not mistaken for a Red Mallard Duck by those Duck Hunters...

Invited to drop into the lodge on Griffith Island "CNG4" for a feast of wild game birds...wonderful...

Griffith Island ON CNG4*
     North of Owen Sound and Billy Bishop Regional (CJD3).  Situated in Georgian Bay.  Currently home to a private Hunt Club.  Was originally owned and started by the General Motors Corporation.  Approx 2500-3000 acres plush with deer, wild turkey and pheasant.

Checked oil and fuel last night, as I have no electrics I am waiting for first light...it is a long way home and glad I am not driving...


AHH...Black Smoke...the morning stillness on the island is broken...


Okay...now the Blueish White Smoke...oil pressure and temp...checked carb heat...


Off I go...into the wild blue yonder...


Into the Fall sunrise...leaving the island I need altitude to be able to glide to shore...good plan...circle island first to gain height...


Time to start a circle of the island...not a good idea to fly over water without being able to glide to the safety of land...
