Goodly evening all... :)

FSX and Vista
FS Water Configurator set to Steves Favourite Settings
HDE Clouds
3D Lights
Aircraft:  FSX Cessna C172SP Skyhawk
Location:  Collingwood "CNY3"
From "The Home of Flight Ontario" Canada
Season:   Fall 2010 at daybreak
Frame Rate set to 22 and Bloom ON
Mostly all Freeware right here at Simviation... :)

We often take things for granted without even thinking about it.
Take for example the Cessna 172 aircraft.

Often overlooked as one of the finest aircraft that came out of Cessna.

Wonderful aeroplane for training and cross country work.  A flying family sedan and cheaper to operate than a four door sedan over several hundred miles.
That takes into maintenance, fuel, storage etc. etc.
Just as comfortable as most four door sedans as well.

Built strong to take the unintentional abuse from the student pilot and stable enough to do Instrument Training with.

The aircraft can be equipped with skis and floats, being on floats opens a whole new realm for the aviator.

The Cessna 172 is a working persons aircraft, affordable and fun to fly.

No it is not a F15 or a P51, she is just a dang good all round wonderful aircraft all too often relegated to the back burner like so many others that we tend to take for granted... ;)

I noticed the information about using "Shift + Z" for seeing information while flying...not sure who posted it now or which post it was in but thank you for that information as it works well for me... :)

Flaps up and reducing power...

A little low flying in this aircraft is always fun...

Pictures 4 & 5 are at a highter altitude where the aircraft is just as much fun to fly and makes for a great perch in the sky.  I always liked to fly along and enjoy a ham with cheese sandwich along with several green onions, perhaps some hot tea all the while enjoying what unfolds beneath the wings... ;)

Sorry "yancovitch"... :)

This is one of the default FSX Cessna 172s.
They call this one the "Used Trainer"... ;)
