the fokker d-vIII is from blutwerks ...can't remember the source of the dr1....wish there were more quality oldies for fsx.....maybe only us old guys can appreciate them.......Image

Cool shots! That DR-1 is trully a beauty.
And there are quite a lot of old planes for FSX actually, especially from the WW1 era.

but the props are so shy, they even try to hide behind clouds... :)

Hehe yes indeed.
But still, there are some that are in FSX SP2 native format, which means they don't have any prop display issues :)
I'm specifically thinking about:
- the DR1 you've been using, of course
- the FSX convertion of the Camel originaly made by David Eckert
- the Bristol F2b by Robert Bruce
- the Alphasim (now freeware) SE5a
- the Swordfish from Flying Stations
And there might be more that I didn't know about or forgot :)

the camel's cloud shy...nice if someone could figure out that prop thing :)

The Camel is not "cloud shy" anymore. As said earlier, it was converted to real native FSX SP2 format, with self-shadowing etc... Look at my screenshot, does the prop seem "cloud-shy" ? ;)
