Aircraft:  Cessna 305 on Floats
Location:  Alaska USA
Season:   Fall 2010 just prior to sunset
Mostly all Freeware right here at Simviation...

The assistance, encouragement and comments from far too many folks here at Simviation, far too many to mention have got me this far and have made this a much more enjoyable hobby...Thanks...Doug

FSX Settings:
-Light Bloom is OFF
-AA is OFF
-No aircraft or road traffic
-Water traffic sliders to 52%
-Frame Rate at Unlimited

Fraps left ON and when one manoeuvers the aircraft it is easy to see the Frame Rates fluctuate...

That first shot is really great Doug ! And you're still getting 26 FPS in such conditions, that is a very good thing.

How much FPS fluctuation do you get when you're flying far away from those MoCat sceneries ? Is it comfortable or is it problematic ?

Also, do you like your sim as it is now ?

[color=#0000ff]From my screen Doug your screenshots are very pleasant to the eye! More than 100% improvement!

I hate flying with everything pretty much maxed out @ 25 FPS, but after a week you don't notice any more! The eye adjusts.

Just remember your TV is broadcast right around 30 frames per second, and that looks smooth!!!

Stephane has done himself proud!

Greg, I am going to set my Frame Rates back somewhere around the 24 to 30 Setting to see what I get.

Stephane you have outdone yourself my friend...
I will attempt to do a short crosscountry flight in another area very shortly.  Perhaps a ninety to two hour flight will tell how well everything goes.
