Finally found one you had not posted shots of. [s]I just don't know if it's Snow Dog Tours or something else. But I'm pretty sure it's

Nice shots indeed, and nice choice of airplane too :)

About half way between Grayling and Kaltag you said ? That's in Alaska, so it must be Snow Dog Tours version 4. I have to check that place, it looks lovely  8-)
Thanks for the indications of the place.

By the way, don't you get a huge performance impact when the scenery objects get in the field of view ? I had a dramatic FPS loss during what seemed to be an "instant-loading" of the scenery each time I stop watching it and look at it again after some seconds.

However, I managed to kill this performance impact by converting the textures to DTX1. The only problem is that I used a mass-conversion tool to do that, very handy, but the program "forgets" to tilt the textures upside down, so all the textures are now inverted :/

Well, it's not really a hit on FPS in fact. Once the textures are loaded, then the FPS is ok. It's the loading itself, at the very precise moment when the scenery gets visible, that cause an important freeze of the sim, despite my SSD drives :/

Now I managed to solve completely the problem though.
ConvIm (from the same site as DXTBMP) to mass convert the BMP originals to normal 32 bits 888 BMPs.
Then I used IrFanView to mass-vertical-flip all those pictures :)
The finally, I used again ConvIm to convert those flipped pictures to DTX1. Too bad I don't have the choice for DTX3 or something better :/ But it works, I lost a bit of details (fences not transparent anymore), but globally it's ok, and the scenery loading is not a problem anymore.

Nice shots Larry. Well if it is one of the Snow Dog Tours locations maybe we can figure which one from the bgl files.

Patchz, on Flying Wild Alaska, Jim Tweto lands the Cessna 180 on a small strip with water on both ends. (a few times) Any idea what the location is? I can't remember where it was and I'd like to check it out in the sim for myself.

Sorry Doug, I missed the 'my kind of hangout' the first time.
Are you sure? Those are not rockin' chairs in front of the tent. ::)
