Happy again

Postby jime59 » Fri Mar 18, 2011 1:00 am

Well, I installed the Beta driver for my new graphics card and lo and behold, it works. No more waiting for the textures to draw when switching views. Here's a few shots of the Carenado 208B which has HD(2048) textures and as  you can see the FPS stays at 25.

Looking good jime. I really like that livery. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks Larry, I like it too. It's classy. As a matter of fact, it's what prompted me to buy it. I need to try my hand at painting, which I see you're very good at, and try to replicate this paint job to some of my other planes. Maybe after I pick-up the C185 Bush from Carenado I'll give it a go.
From what I've seen here at the Vee, you and some of the other guys seem to like that particualr plane and most of my flying time is spent in those areas but, we shall see. ::)

Thanks again for the compliment, I appreciate it.
