Landing, Tweto style........

Postby CHUCK79 » Sun Feb 27, 2011 9:38 pm

.....minus the style ;)
A2As' Cub update allows for bouyancy of the tundra tires........ :o :o :o

This is my attempt at a "Tweto landing"
Practicing at skimming the water here......
Image
Going for it.........started out pretty good.....
Image
.......then drag got the best of me........
Image
Throttle!!....full elevator up.....please don't stick your head in the sand like an ostrich....please.....
Image
Wow....the prop must have been inches from the ground......Mr. Tweto makes it look tooooo easy :)
Image

Way to go A2A, very well done. I always disliked the fact that landing gear caused no drag in the water :P

Thanks 4 looking :)

Cool! :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

That's cool Chuck!

But also eerily timed..........saw this video just yesterday when a bud sent me a link to a bunch of silly flying vids on YouTube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ux4yji1V5Y&NR=1&feature=fvwp

And that one reminds me of this oldie-but-goodie:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waF-xwyEi1w
