BTW the green and blue are caused by the different weather at the time the satelite passes over, if interested

Hi Greg... :)

We did scheduled runs plus charter flights all through the north and you do not really realize how large this earth of ours is until we see it either:
-from space
-from the Arctic Circle
-from the Antarctic Continent
-from one of the Oceans or Seas
-from one of the many Deserts like the Sahara Desert
(The world's largest desert (3,500,000 square miles) in northern Africa)

The awesome beauty of flying over the above area's during any part of the year can only be surpassed by the solitude and the overwhelming feeling that will come over each and every one of us as to how small we really are.

From our perch at twelve thousand or twenty thousand feet we seem to be barely moving over the Arctic ground.

Looking around and seeing nothing for as far as the eye can see, no blips on the radar, just you and your trusty co-pilot...what do you say...what can you say... :)

I have always said:
Oh golly gee I hope this thing wasn't built on a Friday... ;D

So desolate, yet beautiful in it's own right.

Excellent shots.

Great pics.

Since that is not default FSX would be nice if you (and everyone else!) told us what addons you are using to get these pictures. Cheers.

[font=Comic Sans MS][color=#0000ff]Patience grasshopper, all you have to do is ask since I've posted links many many times. It is a freeware program called Tileproxy and all you could ever want to know about it and more is found here...http://edtruthan.com/tileproxy/tutorial/

My daddy taught me along time ago this valuable lesson: "Son, you can catch a lot more flies with honey than you can vinegar" ;)

And with that said, thanks for the compliment
