Just another flight. Lots of high-altitude winter winds, landing with like a 80-degree cross wind

I realized that the PMDG MD-11 autopilot does not really like very strong sideways winds. Most of the flight across the mid-atlantic there was some 70+kts jetstream and the AP kept turning leffffft and riiiiight and leffffft and riiiiight. Glad I wasn't really on that flight.

Very nice Barb. I especially like the last one.

Maybe one day, airports will be built on a huge lazy Susan that will enable all arrivals and departures into the wind. ::)
