Return to Bear Camp Research

Flew down from Revelstoke to visit the guys at Bear Camp Research.

Yes, that is an airstrip between those trees. A 600' one.

Don't even think about overshooting here. There is no exit and very little room to maneuver. One way in, one way out, unless you are in a helo.

Pretty narrow here too.

Glad these guys keep plenty of wobbly pop on hand. You need one after landing here. ::)

I finally figured out you need to turn autogen down to land here. ::)

Thanks for looking.
:)

Thats a cool little strip, I think I'll download that tonite, thanks.  It reminds me of Bear Gulch airstrip, which is a fictional strip that came with the RealAir Scout I bought last year.

I don't know why I never thought of turning down autogen before. I could not see the strip for the trees.

You'll have to ask Doug up above you. I stole the phrase from him. ::)

Hi Spindrift... :)

We refer to "wobbly pop" as alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer, rum and etc... ;)

Not a good idea to drink when operating machinery, vehicles, boats or aircraft... ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Great shots Larry :)
Looks even more treacherous in the winter time. I think I'll give those boys a visit myself.......you don't need to save me any wobblypop though, I'll bring the re-supply ;)

Just be sure to pack it well, with plenty of insulation. I'd hate to see it all broken due to a bumpy landing. ::)
