That wispy grass around the edges of the asphalt is always a sign of something good - and it was.

Seeing the grass lining the runway is what started me on this little photo session. It had been a little while since I'd flown that route and I had forgotten how much I love it.

Great shots! I love that scenery too, one of my favorite places to fly. One really fun thing to do in this area is to head west through the mountain passes between Concrete and Darrington, and head out towards Lake Cavanaugh.
