Goodly afternoon all... :)

Here are three shots from a flight I just did in the Vulcan.

I would have traded in the old girl, gave away all our children, handed over the keys to the Land Rover for a flight like I just did in FSX.

Alas I guess I shall just have to be content with what I did get to aviate in.

Goodly morning all... :)

That is a good one Dave... ;D

But do you see the smile on the Vulcan's face in shot two, she is not worried about Mother Nature catching her... ;D

I've noticed smiley planes from both you and Larry.  Must be the fuel supplement  :).

Hi Doug,

A bit of criticism from me ;)

The first shot... I don't like it. The background scenery is not interesting, the lighting of the plane is strange and doesn't look realistic, and the angle of view is quite classic. You managed however to create an impression of speed in this shot, which is good ;)

The second shot is much better. The blurries of the ground are not so visible, and the uniform background together with the clouds create a nice contrast with the plane itself, which gets somehow "enhanced". That's very good. I don't like the way the thunder bolt looks, but that's pretty much all. :)

The last shot is classic but I like this angle of view for the Vulcan. The background scenery is not nice though, it lacks details and the ground textures are blurry. The same exact shot above plain water should look much better, especially if you manage to make the waves look good with just a bit of sun reflections ;)

Thanks Stephane... :)

As always your constructive criticism and comments are always most welcome and appreciated.   ;)

The area I chose for the flight is near the top of the world, Northern Canada and it is vast, very desolate but beautiful in it's own right.  FSX does not portray Canada very well, on a scale of one to ten I would give FSX a two.

I really don't think of doing pictures when programming a simulated flight but that is something you have brought to my attention.

I guess I owe you another bottle of wine and some cheese... :)
