The second shot is cool.
It would have been even better if the camera would have looked a little bit more up, so that the screenshot would show less ground and more sky.

Yes I see what you mean now Stephane...I shall keep that in mind.  I used the method you told me about to move the aircraft from side to side and up and down.
I think if I had of moved the aircraft to the right of the runway instead of the left it would also have given me a better shot as I would have more of the 3D Landing Light showing.

Ah yes, maybe moving the camera a little bit to the left to show the 3D light would have been a good idea, but then the angle of view would not have been so original.

Perhaps, you could do exactely the same "incomplete aircraft" selection, but showing the left half of the aircraft instead of the right half. And then, placing the aircraft at the bottom of the picture instead of the top, in order to show more sky than ground. Of course, you would also have to work on an interesting sky, which means selecting a nice-looking weather. Hard work, isn't it?

Yes Stephane it can be a hand full especially when flying the aircraft also...

But I have a lot of help and instruction from folks right here like you that make the difference...
