Chewing the Rag

Postby Flying Trucker » Mon Sep 27, 2010 2:15 pm

Goodly afternoon all... :)

FSX and Vista
JTs Alaskan Airports...8 Parts...about 80 Alaskan Airports
Simviation Downloads...Main>FSX>Scenery
Location...Delta Junction (D66) Alaska
Auster Aircraft...Classic British Files
Aircraft Livery thanks to "Patchz"...Larry
HDE Clouds and FS Water Configurator were used during flight
All Freeware mostly right here at Simviation

"Chewing the Rag" is when a bunch of us old retired rocking chair rudder stompers sit around the hangar, usually on a weekend, waiting for the engine to cool (good excuse as any) and tell our flying stories...sometimes a wobbly pop comes out...flying ends...stories get much better... ;D

Comments and advice most welcome... :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

I would love to be in the hangar while you "Chew the Rag" Doug. I always enjoy reading your stories. :)

Wonderful shot by the way, I like all of the work going on inside the hangar.

Great shot Doug. :)
I too, would like to be hanging around listening while y'all chew the rag. That hangar reminds me a little of the one I played in growing up.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Good evening all... :)

Well.....you think I "Chew the Rag"...you two should hear the old girl and her friends the Nattering Nannies...talk about gossip... ;D

Thanks for the comments Christian and Larry, much appreciated and if you get a chance there are some great little bugsmasher strips in those eight (8) downloads on the Simviation FSX Scenery download site.

Larry I think that Cessna 185 of yours would fall in love going into some of them... ;D

Thanks Doug. :)

I've sorta got my hands too full right now to take time for new scenery. There's getting ready for Tech Support's wedding and my car went on the fritz today. I had to put it in the shop and get a rental. I've been gone from

the house more in the last two days than I have in the last two weeks. Not much time for FS. But when things calm down a bit, I do want to download them.
