Nice Bob.
What airport is that in the last one? Looks interesting.
Don't know Patchz. It's a little over halfway heading south from Hartford to Long Island Sound on your left on the Connecticut River. Just follow the river. You can't miss it. Thought about landing but just buzzed over it.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Looking forward to summers end and the coming fall season with all it's color.

Bob

Told ya it looked interesting.
That looks like a MoCat sign. I'm thinking Lands End East or North.
Here is another shot. Yep! They are there.

Agreed, I'm thinking East. Terrific scenery in your shots Bob, my FS is still thinking it's summer, I might have to switch it to fall a little early

Ah, Connecticut... I grew up there.... the memories! the first shot is Hartford-Brainard with its little grass strip on the riverside.
My Dad took flight lessons there in his 20's in an old C152. And I goofed around there as a kid with my first SLR, a 1977 Nikon FM. Wish I could find those old shots...
Still remember the ancient Cessnas, Pipers and occaisional Beech...
thanks for the rewind Bob! I'm going to have to pay a visit my next trip home!!!
