Thanks Atticus18...

I always liked the big old Chinook...I am scared to ask how much each of those Real Flight Simulators cost...

You know as well as I do coming from one of them home to the old desk top no matter how new and powerful the home computer is there is no comparison.

I think that is why I still consider all versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator a game and not a Flight Simulator with motion.
I would go farther by saying that all versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator make good learning aids but that is it. No motion or aircraft input then it is not a true Flight Simulator.
When you are in the Chinook Simulator, are the crew stations exactly the same as the real aircraft? How about vibrations and motion?
I have been in the C130 Flight Simulator a good many times and everything is just like the real aircraft. They can even simulate smoke in the cockpit. I can only do that at home if I light my pipe...

Interesting occupation you have which will take you far in the civilian market place I am sure....

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
