I've driven over the Big Mac many times, one big thrill is that the road is a see through grated steel system, you can drive over it and look straight down into the water! They designed it like that because of the freezing temps allowing it to expand in the winter 8-)

I find it ironic they had an hour long special on the Makinac Bridge on History last night.

I watched Mike Rowe do Dirty Jobs on it last month though 8-) Yeah that sounds bad but I don't feel like fixing it.
