But if I were to purchase a BMW, it would most likely be the K1300GT or K1200LT. Actually, I would like to have the Buell and the K1300GT, as I like both very much. Posted: Sun Jul 25, 2010 11:28 amIt has to do with the cardan shaft (driveshaft) of the early BMWs (1955 'til 1990). They used to lift the rear due to mechanic forces of the cardangear mounted on the rear wheel.
Hence the association to a cow, which rises its back first when lying on the ground.
