Posted: Thu Jul 22, 2010 3:59 am[color=#000000]I know it's ugly. But I have been in love with the Pilatus PC-6 Porter ever since I saw Air America. And FSD is having a sale. The usual $35.95 has been reduced to $26 for all three versions, wheeled, amphib, and skis, both FSX and FS9 versions. But when I got to the checkout, it was $21, and they have a number of free repaints for it. So, ugly or not, I love it. The only problem I have found, is that a couple of the repaints are aparently meant for FS9, but easily fixed by removing the prop spin texture and adding the glass texture from the default model.
You can add or remove the fuel pods under the wings with the Load Manager, as well as configure several other things. It's pretty neat. It also allows you to install a repaint on any one or all of the three versions. No, I'm not working for FSD, I just really like this model.
