Around the world 5 Halifax - New York

Postby ManuelL » Tue Jul 20, 2010 2:52 pm

Hello,

managed to squeeze in another short leg this weekend  :)
At this point I had to decide how to continue for crossing the Pacific. I decided to take the south route - first to South America and then island hopping over the Pacific.
Next stop on this way was New York.

On the way along the coast - decided to fly a little lower than usual.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks!

No idea how much time I've spent so far. Often (especially for the trans atlantic legs) I start up the autopilot and do other things on the side looking in from time to time.

Thanks for the comments.

I don't think the images are stretched. I have cropped them at the bottom/top - mainly to reduce the file size a bit. Maybe the zoom gives a bit of a fish eye effect sometimes?

Edit: could probably be also because I haven't changed my fsx settings to widescreen? I had the impression that it only changes the zoom and the framerate is lower at widescreen settings.

[color=#000000]This is about the third time I've looked at these Manuel. All are very nice, but there is something special about #1. I can't put my finger on what it is, but it is an exceptional shot.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Manuel, you have a technique of minimizing your background while enhancing your aircraft - it's something I haven't learned so how about a PM when you get done with this voyage.
