Excellent shots Bob!
Are these standard FSX ground textures? That green looks very nice.

Excellent shots... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

I agree about the "green" in the 2nd Pic...

Unusually, the landscape in certain areas appears to be lit up by the Sun shining through the clouds.
In the default scenery, the landscape is not affected but the amount of light falling on it during the day, the "brightness" is constant.
Wouldn't it be nice if the ground scenery was illuminated by the amount of Sunshine striking it!
Bright golden cornfields in an Autumn sunny day!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav... 8-)...!

P.S. Just had a peek at Bob's link above...which explains it.

Hi Bob... :)

There is a lot of real feeling in the second shot for me as an aviator.
Not sure just what it is yet as I have looked at that shot several times now.

The sky or the way the aircraft is depicted against the sky and background scenery I am not sure.

Well done... ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thanks Doug. I like the way it looks also. To me it seems real. If I wasn't a judge I'd give it a nom.
