Hello,

after a full re-install of FSX I'm finally on the road again  :)

On the runway in Isafjordur. Cleared for departing straight out - or maybe not quite so straight...  ;)

Approaching Greenland, passing over a chain of icebergs below.

Turning into final for Narsarsuaq. The controller kept me in the holding pattern until I managed to pronounce the airport name correctly - almost ran out of fuel there.

Leaving Greenland after a short lunch break.

Approaching Halifax runway 33 a few hours later. Seeing the sun in the north is till a bit confusing.

Parked for the night. Hotel is just across the street.

Thanks for looking!
Manuel

YAY! You're back!!!

Lovely shots -- I really like that Halifax approach. What scenery is that? I didn't know they have any good sceneries for the Canadian Maritimes.... (we love Nova Scotia and PEI!).

ps. What are your leg distances and average time/speed? You made crossing the Atlantic sound easy!!  :o

Thanks for the comments.  :)

The Halifax scenery is from simaddons. Quite a nice scenery in my opinion. The airport comes with lots of animations, moving jetways, deicing trucks, follow-me cars, AI snow plows for the winter etc. Only downsides of the scenery are that the surrounding photo textures are a bit low res and you have to turn off the crash detection because of invisible objects near the gates.

My legs across the Atlantic have been the longest so far. I think around 1200 miles each. The PC 12 can cruise at over 200 knots, but on these legs I was flying at around 180 knots to save fuel.
